Laura Black
Laura Black, P6 co-founder, has written and directed a variety of plays, many of which were “Best Bets,” “Critic’s Pick” and “Recommended,” including Seven Days which was named “One of the ten best of 2000″ by Frontiers Magazine. Her works have been produced in Los Angeles and New York.
Laura, a graduate of USC Film School has also written feature screenplays and written, produced and directed a number of short films such as The Rules, featured in over 35 film festivals throughout the world and the winner of a number of awards including “Best Dramatic Short” at Telluride IndieFest, “Grand Festival Award – Best Short Feature” at Berkeley International Film and Video Festival, “Crystal Apple/Best of the Fest” and “Best Dramatic Short” at Melbourne Independent Film Festival, Other award-wining films include The Nellie Olesons and surviving the C. Recent shorts include the satire A Rendezvous… and her latest comedy Dance, Dance Baby!
